  What's going on in their world...
  
  Thanks to Captain Underpants, Gavin is now a superhero. His new name is Super Strong and he knows he is a superhero because today when Mommy was shopping at Trader Joe's and the shopping cart fell over with all the groceries in it and the girls came tumbling out... Super Strong was able to jump off and not get hurt!
  
  Yesterday, Kealani threw a big glass jar of BBQ sauce out of the cart... "Clean up on the end of aisle 13."
  
  Next time Daddy gets to go to the store!!

  The latest and greatest from Gavin & Melia's point of view:
  
  Tonight after reading our Bible story Gavin said: "Who has an oval head in this house? I have a circle head, Melia has a circle head and Kealani has a circle head. But Mommy and Daddy have an oval head. When you grow up you get to have an oval head!"
  
  Before bedtime I cleaned Mia's earrings and asked her if she wanted new ones. Her response: "No, I already told Daddy, but Grandpa has earrings." I said, "Oh? Which Grandpa?" She said "The girl one, she has two."
  
  You just can't buy memories like these, I love being a mom!

  grandma linda:  I still cannot stop laughing that Melia called me the girl Grandpa that has two earrings!!!

  Gavin had his first day of school today. He was a brave boy and only cried a little bit. He "crayoned," cut papers, and sat next to Vanessa on the orange square on the carpet, but his favorite thing about the day was that he played on the playground 3 times!

  Grandma Linda:  Gavin reminds me of Grandpa Don when he was in kindergarten. He made lots of friends quickly. Especially the female ones!! Joel too. He was in a class of 25 students-but only 2 were boys so you can imagine! (wink, wink)

  Gavin's first day of school is July 29. Exciting... our little boy is growing up!

  Kealani came home from the NICU today. We are so happy to have her with us all the time now!

  We went to our first meeting with our new congregation. At first Gavin was so sad and he didn't want to go in, but by the end he was talking to everyone and introducing himself as "Bumble Bee Gavin Nohea Tarrodaychik"
